Task: Find new channels for growth.
Role: Identified opportunity, negotiated with partner, design, and copywriting.
Results: Every person who has purchased a Suunto watch since August 1st 2019 has received an email offer for an extended 3-month trial of SportTracks. This has driven considerable growth with a high conversion rate.

SportTracks website redesign

Task: Redesign the most important pages of the brand’s website. View them here: home, features, pricing, and signup.
Role: Strategy, concept, design, and copywriting.
Results: Immediate 50% increase in conversions, 35% increase in organic traffic over time.

Task: Promote a new feature that adds detailed weather information to a user’s entire workout history.

Results: A set of images with the “Beat the storm” tagline were shared on the company’s social channels.

Task: Create a landing page that targets people who want more training tools than what Strava offers.
Role: Strategy, concept, design, copywriting, and coding.
Results: High amount of daily organic search traffic with consistent conversion rate.

How to drop $725k on gear

Task: Create an attention-getting article about exotic products.
Role: Concept, product selection, and copywriting.
Results: The popular photography website PetaPixel asked to also publish this post on their site, where it generated over 1900 Facebook shares, lots of comments, and a deluge of traffic to B&H.
Notes: The strength of this work propelled me to a managerial position at the company.

Hands-on review of the B&H Gift Card

Task: Promote gift cards.
Role:  Concept, design, and copyediting.
Results: Strong performance in the B&H email newsletter and social channels. After I left the company a sequel was created for their electronic gift cards.
Notes: This work was made when I was the Manager of Publishing at B&H. I came up with the idea, sold it to upper management, and assigned the writer and graphic designer.

Cold Weather Photography Tips

Task: Utilize an outside design agency to create an infographic about photography that will be widely shared on social media.
Role: Project manager, creative director, and copywriter.

Results: 11,100+ social shares and 200+ comments.
Notes: I wrote all of the copy in the infographic, and assisted a writer on my team to create an article to accompany the post.
