If you recently decided to try the Amazon Music Unlimited plan for the Amazon Echo and your 30-day free trial is coming to an end, or if you’ve already started a paid subscription, clearly written instructions for how to cancel are provided below.

You could try asking your Echo to cancel it for you, however, when I tried this on my podcast recently, it totally didn’t work. Following the instructions below, however, is a sure-fire way to get it done:

1) Using a computer, visit your Amazon Music Settings. You may be required to log into your Amazon account to access this page.

2) In the Amazon Music Unlimited section, click on the words “Do not continue after trial” under the Subscription Renewal section on the left side of the screen:

3) A box will appear asking you to confirm that you intended to cancel your subscription. Click the yellow “Do not continue after trial” button:

4) After you press that button, you will be brought back to your Amazon Music Settings screen, and it will now inform you that your free trial is ending soon:

5) Thats it! You’re done!

    1. Hi Trudy,

      I just want to clarify that this is my personal blog, and that this is simply a blog post about how to cancel a service from Amazon. When you leave a comment on my blog, Amazon is not going to receive it, or reply to it.

      If you want to communicate with Amazon, you need to try to do that some other way. You can try their customer service phone number by dialing 888-280-4331.

  1. On your example like mine, it says that “your Echo plan starts as soon as the unlimited is canceled. I don’t want the Echo plan for 3.99/month and never asked for that. How do I prevent that from starting?
